I love to grow, to learn, to be inspired and to inspire. My favorite days and nights are those getting lost in thought and deep conversation in a city or countryside connecting with new, beautiful strangers sharing insights of the world we've discovered or have pondered over.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

My philosophy is just yes. All the time. Unless it really is just no haha. I love going with the flow and seeing where the path leads me. Couchsurfing is an amazing life experiment to see where the couchwave of life takes you and to whom you meet along the way!

Intereses

My current interests are in utopias, permaculture, sustainable living and city design. I'm interested in social and environmental justice through art and design.

Creation. making, designing, imagineering. Merging art and science. I like making costumes and jewelry. Recently I've been into how costume can be a vehicle for personal transformation. I just really love beautiful things though.

books: recently I've gotten into nonfiction on topics such as Taoism, sacred geometry, Buddhism, mysticism, and anything about science/tech/engineering. Currently reading lots of Thich Naht Hahn, Murakami and Vonnegut. Others are the life of pi, jitterbug perfume by tom robbins, hitchhikers guide to the galaxy by douglas adams, and the unbearable lightness of being by milan kundera.

After a friend ran off and left me stranded at Burning Man with no wallet, money, ID or phone, I hitchhiked my way back to San Francisco to my friend's apartment and went on an adventure camping and driving along the way :)

I'm a futurist. I'm going back to school in September for my Masters in City Planning so that I can build cities of the future.

I'm interested in living cities, urban ecology, sustainability, biomimicry and city infrastructure. How can we better design our cities to create community and manage our natural resources and our waste?

I love to share, especially exchanging with people willing to host me!

Besides teaching/sharing that academic stuff above (sustainable cities, permaculture, good city design, engineering/math), I can teach you how to belly dance, spin fire staff, cook a damn good curry, play the drums, to dance, to meditate, do yoga, and to try to be as awesome as humanly possible hahah. I also do Reiki and would love to do an energy exchange :)
