About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Eat as many baguettes as I can before returning to America.

ABOUT ME

I'm very easygoing, and I love going out and trying new things. I'm very dedicated, and I take my academics very seriously. I'm a hopeless romantic, and my literary crush is Mr. Darcy. I love traveling - I'm hoping to travel my way through the countries of Europe and the U.K. while I am studying abroad here in Angers, France.

PHILOSOPHY

"There is no other way, and there never was."

I am a firm believer that no matter what you could have changed about your life, everything that happened to you was always going to happen. Fate has a funny way of making everything work out in the end.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm very new to Couchsurfing, but I totally support everything that it represents. I could easily stay in a hostel, but where's the fun in that? I like that through this site, you have the chance to meet people and make new acquaintances all over the world!

Interests

I spend most of my time reading and occasionally binge-watching TV shows on Netflix. I also write a lot - I am majoring in English Writing. I have never been coordinated enough to play any sports, but I do enjoy watching them on T.V. I love anything food related, and I am a firm believer in retail therapy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love modern romantic comedies (books and movies), but I also love the classics. Wuthering Heights and Pride and Prejudice are my two favorite classic novels. I listen to a lot of indie music, but I also like pop songs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing things that I have done have all happened since arriving in France back in January. I spent Valentine's Day weekend in Paris with a couple of close friends, which was one of the most fantastic vacations in my entire life. I recently visited my Aunt in Switzerland, so I got to see all that Zurich has to offer, including the chocolate!

Countries I’ve Visited

England, France, Italy, Scotland, Switzerland, United States
