About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel the world, and see all that the world has to offer me :)
ABOUT ME
I was born in a little town called Port Macquarie which is 4 hours north of Sydney (Capital of New South Wales, State of Australia). I have lived there all my life, but at the moment I am travelling and am not doing it alone, I am travelling with my partner.
I used to work as a waitress before I started travelling. It wasn't ideal, but I enjoyed it, I did make a few good friends out of working there. I would like to get into something different, maybe something with animals (I absolutely love animals, if I could I would become a crazy cat lady), Although I'm not sure of what kind of field I would go into.
When being hosted, I will be polite, be very tidy (I hate mess, so wouldn't make any for others to clean), will respect your schedule (if you need to be out of the house, and need us to be as well, no problem :D), and respect house rules.
I don't smoke, and don't like the smell of smoke, but if you are a smoker I am totally fine with it. It's your choice, also your home, your rules :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Interests
Games:
I really enjoy playing games with people, but I don't mind the occasional single player game. I will list my favourites :)
Card games:
Frustration, Speed, Spit and Shithead.
Board games:
Scattergories, Scrabble, Risk, Monopoly.
Computer games:
This category definitely had the most favourites. They include: Minecraft, Terraria, The Sims, Don't Starve, Sim City and Diablo.
I like to travel of course, I cannot wait to explore what the world has to show.
I like being creative, just recently I planned a themed surprise murder mystery birthday party (Alice in Wonderland) for one of my best friends. A lot of effort and creativity went into this. I enjoyed it a lot though, was definitely worth it!
I also love being around people and meeting new people. I thrive off company.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies:
I'm not too much of a movie person, but if it really interests me I'll watch it. The LEGO Movie is a great example, that was the BEST!!! (Everything is awesome!). Although to be fair I have started watching more movies of late and one that I have recently watched was Big Hero 6. That was a good movie.
I'm more of a TV Show/Series kind of girl, I could watch them for days :) Some of my favourites include: How I Met Your Mother, Once Upon a Time, New Girl, Modern Family, One Piece, 2 Broke Girls, Bones, Big Bang Theory, Community and Pretty Little Liars.
Music:
I really like upbeat music, for example anything that you can sing and dance to :). Lately I have been listening to a YouTube Channel who uploads videos more than once a week. It's mainly mixes and mashups, but I quite enjoy them. Proximity is the name.
Books:
I like them but I need to read more of them. I don't set enough time to just sit down and read a book. One of my all time favourites is "Bimbo & Topsy" by Enid Blyton. I red it as a kid and have loved it ever since.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Japan:
- Experienced Japanese Karaoke, a night not to be forgotten. (April,2015)
- Went to a Hot Spring in Osaka, Could have stayed there the whole day and night.
South Korea:
- Visited Seoraksan National Park, in Sokcho. Very beautiful (May, 2015)
- Experienced the Lantern Festival, in Seoul for Buddha's birthday, Parade was awesome, and the lanterns around the city were pretty. (May, 2015)
China:
- Been to the Great Wall of China. Very amazing, a must see!! If you ever go, get the Sky Lift and Toboggan ticket. The Sky Lift is so much more peaceful than the Cable Car and the Toboggan Ride explains itself really, and you ride it all the way down the mountain! (May, 2015)
- I don't know why but I love the overnight trains (I think they're amazing!)
What I Can Share with Hosts
There are a few things I can share with hosts.
Now I LOVE card games and am slowly making a long list of all the card games I know. So far i know about 20 games off the top of my head but that number is sure to grow.
When I finally get my hands on some Vegemite, I can share that Australian taste with you. It is definitely one that I miss.
I can show you the strange side of YouTube. I don't know how I accrued so many, but I have and there are a lot.
Speaking on my partners behalf, if you're interested in photography, we can show and teach you a bit about it. My partner is self taught and takes amazing photos! It is quite amazing, he has definitely taught himself a lot.
