ABOUT ME

I'm friendly and really open. I love to travel and learn about new cultures. I'm currently an anthropology student in the Philly area but I'll be done with school soon and out in the world of working adults!

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that you can't understand yourself if you don't understand the world in which you live. In order to do this, you need to experience as many cultures as possible through travel. Staying home is safe, yes, but it isn't the best way to learn!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far, I haven't hosted anyone but that's because I live in a dorm. In May, I'll have a couch that will be ready and open for new friends to crash on!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Sadly, the few times that I've attempted to couchsurf, my hosts had to cancel. But, I'm looking forward to having some great stories in the future.

I love to swing dance. I'm also an avid reader. I like to listen to new kinds of music and I am always up for an adventure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer, I went sky diving and I loved it. I can't wait to do it again.
The summer before that, I jumped onto and off of a moving train, which was insanely exciting.
Finally, there is nothing more satisfying than standing on the top of a mountain that you just spent the day hiking and looking over the land. My favorite hike to date has been up one of the volcanoes on the Isle de Ometepe in Nicaragua.
