About Me
ABOUT ME
After years of living in San Francisco, I quit my job and had one of the best experiences of my life. Two years, 16 countries and many stories later I have finally rooted down in the ever-bustling city of New York.
PHILOSOPHY
That, when it comes to life, I'd rather feel uncomfortable becoming more open to new experiences than stay comfortable with the familiar.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Thus far, I've used couchsurfing both to connect with other travelers and find people who were kind enough to host me. As I settle into New York, I'd like to return the favor.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My couchsurfing experience has been really positive. I've met very nice, interesting people who are open to fully experiencing life.
Interests
My interests are wide and varied. You can find me on the dance floor, with a book, climbing a mountain, exploring a city, on a beach, practicing Yoga, eating an awesome meal with friends or writing.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am such a movie, music and book lover that to list it all out would be impossible. Right now, I have three books beside me, have watched two movies this week and am currently listening to music; that pretty much sums me up.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'll just list a few :) - I traveled Israel for ten days: camped in the desert, rode a camel, floated in the dead Sea, danced on tables in Eilat, walked the old city of Jerusalem and got shot at in Golan Heights. In South America I got caught in jungle rainstorms; hitchhiked; ate Alpaca; walked up Machu Pichu; lived on a Quinoa farm; rode on the back of a motorcycle down beaches; danced salsa everywhere as much as possible. In Europe I saw the beginning of the Tour De France; was in Berlin when Germany won the world cup; drove through the field of Provence; biked through National Parks; spent five days reading in a Italian monastery; arrived in Venice on an empty ferry at midnight; experienced "music day" in Paris.
Teach, Learn, Share
My friends call me an encyclopedia because of all the reading I've done, but a more tangible skill I can offer is Yoga. I'm a certified Yoga teacher, and I love to get in-depth discussions on almost any topic. Also, I'm certified in CPR and First-Aid.
