Overview
About Me
I'm an eccentric, hard working, outdoorsy tomboy, who happens to like to dress up every now and then. Each time I've traveled I've learned a little bit more about myself, or a new skill, or even just something about the culture. I believe that I'm meant to travel, and not be stuck in the same place, at least till I feel ready to settle down.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new friends on my travels, make connections all the while saving a little bit of money. I've always stood by the view that the best way to learn about a place is to ask the locals, and learn from them.
Interests
I'm into hiking, hunting, fishing, kayaking, and anything else outdoors related. I love to garden and grow plants. I want to learn to surf, scuba dive, and as silly as it seems, swim.

Music, Movies, and Books
Currently reading: Rhapsody by Elizabeth Haydon
I've always been a big reader, so if you can think of anything that might interest me, shoot me a message.
I listen to all types of music, but prefer rock, or country.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My internship with the SCA this past summer in Southeast Alaska. I got to do so many awesome amazing things, sea kayaking with whales, hiking the Chilkoot Trail, and meeting some wonderful people, whom I hope to stay connected with over the years.
Teach, Learn, Share
Everyone can learn something from anyone else as long as they take the time and listen. I'm always excited to learn new things, especially about the great outdoors and other cultures.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Not really sure besides a cheerful attitude and a country accent. Along with a somewhat decent example of country cooking. I've never really couchsurfed with anyone I didn't know beforehand, so I'm not really sure what I can offer.
