I travel with either my husband, my mother, my dogs or sometimes all of them. We don't smoke, we rarely drink and we don't follow sports. We like to hang out with interesting people, explore our surroundings and swap stories.

I have hosted and been a guest through a similar site called Workaway and it was amazing. I am still friends with the people I met through Workaway and stayed with them 2 years later in Stuttgart!

Interests

Traveling, reading, genealogy, researching, organizing, swimming, learning, trying new things, and ice cream!

Music, Movies, and Books

Enjoy many types of music especially country-western, pop, Christian, and rock.

I read all the Nancy Drew books growing up and enjoy classics like Wuthering Heights and The Scarlet Letter. Eat, Pray, Love, the book, was better than the movie.

I watch chick-flicks, action and drama. I cannot count how many times I have seen Titanic or much more recently, Pride and Prejudice (Kiera Knightley version). I like the Jason Bourne series.

I have binge-watched all 7 seasons of Gilmore Girls and I am Team Logan! I love Law and Order: SVU, House, Bones and The Big Bang Theory.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent 5 weeks in Germany studying the Russian language and visiting Munich, Prague and Venice on the weekends. Met a few Brits and even a guy from Moldova.

Went to my first "European" spa/water-park and loved it!

Moved to Poland to get a Master's degree and study Polish.

Board games, a card game called "31". Budgeting, organizing, genealogy.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach card games like 31 and Silly Rummy/Phase 10. I can proof-read/edit English language documents.

My husband is good with languages, fixing things and all things motorcycle. He is smart, tall, strong and handy to have around.

We can cook but we prefer to buy the groceries and eat what you make and wash the dishes instead!
