Hey, I am Sam. Currently I am studying teaching in Munich. I grew up in a small village close to Munich and have been living in the city for a couple of years!

I am a very open minded, fun, empathic, caring and friendly person, but dont expect to much!I have friends and love to hang out - but also I like to spend time with myself! Daydreaming most of the time! Maybe I would describe myself as an extraverted introvert!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I experienced couchsurfing a couple of years ago while I was living in the US. I went to Boston, NYC and Chicago and always had a great time. Here in Munich I have hosted some people, which was really fun! (However - none of them left me any reference. Oh well!)

I think it is a lovley way to meet people and exchange things like cultures, languages, experiences and so on. Sleeping over at someone else's place, is such a personal thing to do. Especially if you have never met this person. So you experience something their friends haven't even experienced. I think this is just fascinating.

Centres d'intérêt

I love food more than anything. Cooking, baking or dinning out - I am in! (All vegan) In summertime I prefer hanging out outside with a beer in one of the parks in Munich. I have family all over the world, so if I am not to broke (rare occasion but still happens every now and then) I try to visit them!

I hardly have time to read for fun (Bummer!) so most of the literatureI read is actually study related. (education/linguistic/psychology)
Favourite movie since early childhood: How to kill a mockingbird.
Some bands I like listening to: Future Islands, Tame Impala, Temples, Beach House, Gem Club, Memoryhouse, Youth Lagoon, Fleet Foxes, the Smiths, Thievery Corpoation, Agnus & Julia Stone, Kings of Convenience, Porcelain Raft, Cemeteries, David Bowie, Boy & Bear, Junip, Yann Tiersen.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I was diving down to 40 meters which was pretty damn cool to be honest!

This might sounds a bit cheesy but going vegan was one of the best things I could have done! It totally changed my view of how to participate as a decent human being here on planet earth.
