About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To become a global citizen and create a network of friends throughout the world!
ABOUT ME
Traveling is all about the people you connect with and the experiences foraged from those interactions. I love going into a city blind and interacting with the people to create such an authentic connection to the place I am traveling. I have learned to embrace my impulsive and spontaneous nature and harness those qualities to live in the moment and take risks that I normally might not take.
Nothing makes me happier than a thunderstorm. I love the electricity and energy in the air. And the smell of rain.
I believe that purposeless walking is a dying art that many people have forgotten how instrumental it can be for constructing thoughts and ideas. We are so focused on our next destination that we often forget to just stop and appreciate the moment and walk for the pure purpose of walking. You never know what you will stumble upon.
I love the outdoors and nature. Large cities are fun for awhile, but nothing can ever replace the taste of fresh air and the greenery of nature.
I have far too many books in my library than I can read. I can always justify buying another book even when I have 200 at home that I still haven't started. I've learned to always pick up an extra copy of books I recommend so just I can give it to someone when they show interest in reading it.
Honestly, if you want to learn more about me, strike up a conversation because I love to talk, and listen as well.
PHILOSOPHY
Right now, I am slightly fixated on a quote from "We bought a Zoo."
âÃâ¬ÃÅYou know, sometimes all you need is twenty seconds of insane courage. Just literally twenty seconds of just embarrassing bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it.âÃâ¬ÃÂ
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently only surfing, but hope to host people in the future!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far, I only have positive things to say out Couchsurfing. MY first experience was traveling through Europe with a seasoned Couchsurfing friend. I was slightly apprehensive since I had never met a Couchsurfer in person, but when I met my first host, I could not be happier. Everyone since has just been so friendly, welcoming, interested, and helpful. I can't wait until I can start hosting people of my own!

Music, Movies, and Books
Time is limited, so my top 5 movies at the current moment are; Casablanca, cabin in the woods, the royal affair, water, pans labyrinth.
As for music, my taste is goes through ebb and flows. Alabama shakes, civil war, zz ward, Amy wine house, and the old time jazz ladies are on my list. Something about soulful and raw really strikes my senses at the moment.
I am into nonfiction and dystopian novels at the moment. Foreign authors are amazing and I'm always looking for book recommendations!
Need to throw this in here. Orphan black is my television obsession.
