About Me

I've always loved to move! Whether moving meant to a new town, a sport, a small trip or a very long one. As I've moved, I've grown comfortable with my surroundings changing while maintaining the balance of who I am. It took me a quarter of a century, but I'm getting there. I like to keep busy and I can safely say I'm average at many things because I love to always learn new things.

So these are a few of my favorite things

SINGING-I love to sing and want to learn more so I can confidently busk
CLIMBING- I started to outdoor climb when in Thailand. I've never had so many emotions in one moment.
RUNNING- Running gets me started for the day or helps me to relax in the evening. I love to think, I can relax depending on my music, and it gives me a chance to explore a new place
WRITING-Sometimes I write poetry, sometimes I write about my adventures, most often I write what my favorite part about yesterday was.
CAMPING-Connecting with nature, sitting under the dark sky and seeing the stars touch the horizon. Having just a few things to live from gives independence and a part of true reality.
FOOD- I love to create and recreate recipes, giving inspiration for often vegetarian meals that are full of nutrition and simplicity.
RECYCLING-I love to reuse materials for art, clothing, decoration. We have so many clothes we can recreate and swap with and for friends. I'd love to do more with glass and copper.
GARDENING-Something I've become more interested in is Urban Gardening. I'd love to be more involved with this community of people and understand as much as I can about being self sufficient.
TRAVELING- Of course I love traveling. Who doesn't? I've learnt what the difference between need vs want, for me, is. I know now how to follow my gut and trust. I learnt what it means to give, how to receive with gratefulness, how to push my limits. I've been at my most highs and my worst lows. I've met some of my dearest friends who have changed my life. I've also had extremely strong impacts from people I will most likely never see or hear from again.
