About Me

Instagram profile: https://www.instagram.com/sartorsamara/?hl=pt-br

I am 25 years old, I am graduated in International Relations and I have a masters degree in Management, Internationalization and Logistics.
My highest quality is sympathy, good mood almost every day, so you have an idea, I have a younger brother who is very handsome and green eyes, my mother always told me "Samara, you were born with a sympathy and your brother with the beauty and intelligence of the family " LOL. I work in a giant franchising network, we work with education. I've always wanted to work on something that makes a difference in people's lives, and education is the best way to do it. I lived alone since I was 16 years old, in 2014 I lived in Spain for 8 months, I visited places I never imagined, I met people who changed my way of seeing life, many of them I carry in my heart to this day, I learned a lot with each place and each person .I very much believe in that phrase that says: "wherever we pass we leave a piece of us and take a piece of someone else and so we build our being". The world is so big for us to limit ourselves to what we know or what is close to us, the best thing in life is the exchange of experience and culture. Besides all this, I love my family, love to read, love to eat (even a lot LOL) and incredibly as it seems I love to study and to learn new things. Surely, I still have a lot to learn and I hope I have something to teach, after all, we all have.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and I know couchsurfing since 2014, I have several friends who told me incredible experiences about couchsurfing and about their host, so I think it's time to try it. In addition, I work in a giant network of languages and we are going to make a documentary in all Latin America, I also wanted my host to participate in the recording of our project, to share his culture and experience, we want the documentary to have the "face" of Buenos Aires, no one is better than a local to help us in this project.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm passionate about romance movie, I love to cry every now and then with happy endings, I hate horror movie but I watch it with my boyfriend to make him happy.
Books are way more appealing to me, I love all kinds of literature specially about leadership and management.
In music I am very eclectic, but my favorite rhythm is the famous "sertanejo" (country music) and in spain I acquired a fondness for the reggeaton.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I left college I did not know what to do, I just knew that I wanted to continue studying, I enrolled in the master's degree and I went, but I did not have the money to pay, so I sold my car to pay for my studies, my friends say it was crazy, I see it as a priority.
In addition, my biggest adventure was the backpacking through Europe because I traveled alone with a backpack and the courage. And the great madness was parachute jumping, I'm even eager to do this madness again.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I cook typical Brazilian dishes, I know how to make the famous "caipirinha" and the best Brazilian sweet "brigadeiro". I love playing the flute and I can share what I know.
I speak Spanish, but I really wanted to improve my language, I love teaching everything I know and I'm very excited to teach the best of Brazilian Portuguese, after all, knowledge retained is zero knowledge, the exchange of experience is the best we have in the world .
