Overview
About Me
I'm a designer and social entrepreneur from Rio de Janeiro, who's quite well travelled and in constant search for more better ways of living, and interacting with people. I'm very curious, love to hear stories and learn about the people I get to know in my trips.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I just really enjoy the idea of hosting and being hosted by another person, in a home environment, where I can really get to know them a bit more. This is what I like most in my trips, and what I search for. I live in an open house, where we usually host a lot of people, so this is quite a usual experience for me.
Interests
getting to know cultures and people, design, social entrepreneurship, nanotechnology (I currently study that as well), sports (capoeira - I've practiced that for years and years, aikido, soccer), art, movies, museums, going to concerts... the list can be long!

- concerts
- capoeira
- boating
- movies
- traveling
- skiing
- sports
- soccer
- tennis
- swimming

Music, Movies, and Books
I always find it hard to list my favorites, so I will list what's on my list:
Interpol, The Magic Numbers, Hot Chip, Herbie Hancock, Dicró, Chico Buarque, The Gossip, Compay Segundo, Arctic Monkeys, Madeleine Peyroux, Devendra Banhart, Cat Power, Sigur Rós, Kings of Convenience, Elza Soares, Björk, Arcade Fire, Radiohead, Jorge Ben Jor, La Roux...
Movies:
I like documentaries and drama stories with a fantastic touch (like the Gondry movies), also very much interested in foreign films in general.
Books:
Currently reading The Brothers Karamazov, from Dostoyevsky
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Balloon ride in my birthday, in Park City, Utah. The Grand Canyons were also an amazing experience!! Skiing in Salt Lake City mountains, renting a boat in Ilha Grande (Rio de Janeiro) and being by ourselves on an island, visiting Mayan ruins in Mexico, and in special Tulum early in the morning. Amazing memories!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can totally teach capoeira, and a lot related to design
