About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn, share, enjoy!

ABOUT ME

I tend to see myself as a jack-of-all-trade. I'm interested in pretty much anything, would like to try, taste, do whatever can be tried, tasted or done :)

I would say I'm a relatively balanced person. I'm talkative and outgoing but won't mind having a quiet day on my own. I love travelling, cooking and doing sports. I love good food, good wine and good beer. Discussions about any topic is fine : from sports and everyday life to religion, politics or food.

Music is a part of my life -from classical music to death metal, electronic or jazz. I'm sure there's something special in almost every musical genre.

Sports are nice to play and to watch : soccer (yeah, that's how we say "football" in Québec!), tennis, squash, badminton, ultimate frisbee, hockey, volleyball, kayaking, hiking, cycling, ... Pretty much anything that can makes you sweat a little.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started mostly as a surfer, but I've now hosted my fair share of travellers as well. I've had my first couchsurfing experience a couple years ago and loved it. I've met awesome people through CS and CS meetings that I would never have managed to meet on my own.

I also love cooking. In case you missed it. And well, I guess I love cooking cause I love eating food. Yes, that much. I'd be GLAD to cook any kind of typical Québec meal (or whatever else), whether I'm hosting or visiting you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have so far helped people out in Québec city or Montréal through Couchsurfing, and enjoyed all experiences. I've had my first CS experience in Germany a while ago, and it convinced me that it's the best way to discover a city and meet amazing people. I've since then travelled with Couchsurfing quite a lot, helped others do so, and plan on keeping this habit!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I am DONE with my PhD studies, which were about obesity and metabolism. Anything about nutrition and healthy lifestyle is something that I care about -even though I'm NOT especially eating well or being super sporty-, and I feel like I know enough about it to share and teach :)
