About Me

Traveling slow, learning about cultures, food, and heritage while trying to capture those moments as beautifully as possible is my mission. I have done several long trips around the world, always with a camera in my bag and an itch for exploration. The most important thing that I have learned is that people make places, they are the ones making memorable stories. Therefore I am always very happy to meet new friends, especially if they are up to create new stories together :)

A few years ago I got to know my wife Belle in the Philippines, who's joining me in all my endeavors now. The both of us are very easy going, social and we try to be generous on a daily basis.
Probably the worst (and the best) thing about us is that we know exactly what we are looking for, we will honestly tell if we don't like something and if we do like it you can be assured we are celebrating it, whether it's good food, a comfy couch or a simple evening sharing stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I guess it's a mix of curiosity and a great way to make good stories with new friends who share the same interests. Oh, and I love to eat what locals eat, travel like locals and drink like the locals.

Sadly our current home in Bern is a little bit too small to host guests, but we might invite people in the summer time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can probably teach you a thing or two about video- and photography, help you finding your way through the Philippines (spent 2 years traveling there, so I know the secret spots) and in case you got a minor electrical problem in your place, I could most likely fix that too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

All good things that can be shared; laughter, stories, food (my wife is a neat cook!) and most importantly a nice exchange of things we can learn from each other :)
