About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is great to meet people from around the world, to hang out together, and to share experiences and thoughts.
I want to visit as much places in Europe as possible and meet interesting people there before I leave for Australia in October.
I would love to host people myself, but unfortunately the choice is not mine to make for the time being.

Interests

I love surfing and snowboarding. It is basically just playing in nature, while enjoying its beauty. In my experience these sports also let you meet a lot of nice people with a great look on life.
Another passion of mine is making music. Besides playing guitar, I'm making efforts to learn to play the piano and to sing in a way that other people besides myself can enjoy it too. The best thing about music is to play it together.
I'm always down for a good time and a good party.
Show me your art, let me hear your tunes and let me try what it is you love to do. There are a lot of things I have yet to discover.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a diverse music taste which makes it hard to pick favorite songs. They all want to be loved. It greatly depends on the moment and the mood as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was sitting on a hill on the beach with some friends with perfect view on the ocean. At the bottom of the hill there was a pond that mirrored the sunset and afterwards the stars. It was pretty psychedelic when you kept on staring in the pond. We sat there and watched a full sunset and stayed until late in the night. Some cold beers, good tunes, a few bottles, an incredible view and awesome people.
It may seem like something small, I guess you had to be there.

Teach, Learn, Share

You can find the teaching and sharing stuff in the next section I guess.
For the learning part, I am open to try a lot of new things. I wanted to type that I am open to try anything, but people have such wild imaginations you know.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you have a guitar lying around I can teach you how to play, provide you with some music and preferably offer to have a jam session together.
I can teach you the basics of wave surfing and snowboarding as well. But that can be rather dull if you don't have waves or snow in your living room. I guess we could use a couch (for the sake of making a really really silly pun).
Obviously, I can also help you with learning the languages I speak myself.
I can cook some really nice things, and probably some really less nice things. So don't let me experiment in your kitchen and make me cook dishes that I know. Caution, I might experiment anyway, just to keep things interesting.
And ofcourse we can have some good conversations about things that matter and don't matter.
