About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Connect with people on a global level

ABOUT ME

I'm a young heart, old soul, that's what I'm told by the people I meet and I am so excited that I now have a home where I can host you guys.

I spent some time travelling South East Asia and couchsurfing and the people I stayed with made my experience the best it could have been. I have some of the best memories purely through the relationships that were forged.
I now want to be able to return that to the wider couchsurfing community and be a shining London host.

I am a student nurse in mental health and it is something I really enjoy developing my understanding of and continuously challenging my beliefs.

I am happiest when moving, changing, learning. I put myself to whatever work I can find, and love to dance to any rhythm going. Salsa is a dance I love.

I've spent some time in education learning about the care and welfare of animals, domestic and wild and have spent some time running a holistic horse yard. That has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and I've learned so much about the beings we share this planet with as well as picking up a few non-conventional healing treatments too.

I also lived on a vegan animal sanctuary in New Zealand for 6 months. This experience really affirmed to me that animals are just as equal in terms of friendship, love and respect as any humans I come across.

I am a vegan, meaning I wherever possible avoid supporting, condoning or encouraging the exploitation of others, both human and non-human animals. I eat a plant based diet, no meat, no dairy and no egg.

I also identify as genderqueer. For those who the term is new, it means I don't feel my gender identity fits into the socially constructed norms associated with the male or female biological sex.

The rest of my story I will leave to be discovered, but any questions you have I would love to answer.

PHILOSOPHY

I live by this:
Take it as a blessing, or take it as a test. Whatever happens, happens for the best.

And that sees me right. I always try to bring everything back to the present moment for it's all we got, and remind myself that I am not my thoughts or ego.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have my little room I can share to those friends I haven't made yet. I love London so I delight in being able to take any passers through off the tourist trail and seeing the real city and all her beauty.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have stayed with a lot of Filipinos in various places and have decided they have to be one of the nicest nationalities you could ever meet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once visited some hidden underground temples in north Italy, they had been built by hand inside the mountain and were truly a tribute to all things natural and manmade.

I've also stood in the grand canyon, which was unlike anything I have ever experienced before. I can't even put it in words.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a person all I know about building trust and connection with an animal and truly learning to communicate with them as a being on the same level.
I will also just share all the little things that have built up over time that have woven their way into my make-up. Little sayings and teachings that lift me. Experiences that have fuelled me through life.
I also like to smile and dance, so let's do that together.
