About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel as far and as long as possible!

ABOUT ME

I am a super chill, adventurous kiwi! Love the outdoors and trying new things, going new places and meeting new people.
I get bored easy and change my mind often.
My interests shift every few months and I change my perspective on things regularly. The one thing that hasn't changed is my passion for being outside and interest in critical thinking, challenging the status quo and beer.

I'm super interested in meeting new people and sharing stories. I'll relax when I can, drink coffee and I'm always up for a hearty discussion. My previous work was in in outdoor education, teaching rock climbing, canoeing, rappelling, archery, orienteering and a whole bunch of other activities to kids and adults in British Columbia! I absolutely loved the challenge of working with different demographics; from toddlers to the elderly, the physically advanced to the physically challenged.

I have recently had the chance to work with some amazing NFP groups around British Columbia such as - BC Lung Foundation, Positive living BC and the Canadian Cancer Society!

I very rarely have a plan when I travel, and don't like to organise things more than a couple of days in advance. Not because I'm lazy, but because I like to leave all my options open for spontaneous activities and exploration.

PHILOSOPHY

In my opinion there should be more focus inward, learning to enjoy the life you have and the things you do, obviously not to the point of complacency (lack of aspirations isn't great either) but to the point where quality of life is increased via attitude and perspective.

Seen 33 eagles in an afternoon in the Yukon

Worked at an outdoor ice rink in the middle of a 30 degree summer in Nelson.

Seen wolves in both Yukon Territory and rural Manitoba.
