Hey I'm Sam, an electrical Engineering student from the UK currently doing an internship in Germany. I'm quite an outgoing person and love to meet new people, have a drink and get involved in new activities. Before the pandemic I was quite an active traveller and had some really fun trips like my solo interrail trip to the top of Sweden and working for a charity building schools in Ghana. At the moment I intern at a renewable energy consultancy company and am very passionate in this field, aiming to specialise my master's in this subject. As for hobbies, I've recently become massively into DJing and also enjoy lots of sports such as cycling, climbing/bouldering and football.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've recently joined coach surfing since I'm embarking on my first ever cycle tour and would like to enhance the experience by meeting new people along the way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- My year abroad in Germany
- 5 day self sufficient expedition in the Welsh mountains
- Walked over 200km in 4 days
- Had the opportunity to solo fly a plane before the age of 18
