I grew up in Houston, then spent 4 great years in what was then the small town of Austin. The next 10 years were spent teaching English and studying languages in Asia. I never really planned to return to the US, but, I have lived in Portland since 2009.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I enjoy almost to all music. I like to go to classical concerts at Reed College. I'll listen to the Blues all day long, too. Love country music and classic rock.

I read mostly non-fiction. Mostly listening to books these days, though. A couple recent recent favorites have been Born a Crime by trevor Noah and Wille Nelson's book.
