Overview
About Me
I'm a chilled out student working for a PhD in Biology. I grew up in Canada and then moved to England as a teenager. I went to university in Bristol and fell in love with the uniqueness of the city. Bristol is known for street art, music festivals, eclectic architecture and the feeling of a small community in a reasonably-sized city; its perfect! I've recently moved to London with my girlfriend, which has been an interesting shift. Being in London is a good opportunity to try out a new place but I'm already keen to try somewhere else soon.
Currently looking for a place to stay in Italy near the start of the Alta Via 1 mountain trail
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Unofficial couchsurfing - At Heathrow airport with my girlfriend Jade, we started chatting to a couple of guys getting on our flight to Bremen, Germany. They were going home to Hamburg and we didn't really have any plans so they offered us a tour of hamburg and a bed for the night, so we said yes! We got to see the Reeperbahn in Hamburg and we went out for drinks with their friends. The next day we said good bye but we said we'd keep in touch. About 6 months later, one of our German friends said he was coming to England and needed a place to stay. I invited him to my University halls and showed him the life of an English student!
I feel like this is the real goal of couchsurfing and I hope I get to have more of the same experiences.
