ABOUT ME

Well, I have always hated writing this section. Anyway, to put it in words, I am a guy who loves to travel, loves to know different people and cultures, and loves to indulge in the local culture wherever I get to travel. I know quite a bit about Mumbai(not surprising since I was born and brought up there) and now exploring Paris. and I am more than happy to share that, but would love to know more about other cities and countries as well.

So, I can host, show the city, party, etc. Just be imaginative and ask.

I do have to go to work, however. So, it is usually not possible for me to show you around during the weekdays. I will however, explain and help you plan your day in Paris. Generally, most of the people I have hosted do the tourist-y stuff during the day and we hang out in the evenings. But, if you happen to come on a weekend, I will gladly show you around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a few people, and found them to be the most fascinating people I have ever met. The wide cultural and linguistic differences make for some great moments.

Interests

Adventure sports, football, natural beauty, intelligent conversations, cars and bikes, a bit of computers, and most importantly travel.

I am someone who prefers coffee and deep conversations over useless banter and alcohol ((but am capable of either :-P).

Music, Movies, and Books

I do watch movies, listen to music and read books as well(yes, I do). But to say which of them are most liked by me is just impossible. I cannot possibly recollect everything I have ever liked.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving!!! It has been by far the most extreme thing I have done.

Faced a wild wolf in the Himalayas, Went white-water rafting in the Ganges, and a trek down for about a 1000 feet on snow and ice when the ropeway stopped working in Auli, India. Well, that and everytime I get my hands on an exotic car or score a goal...

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an Computer Science student, so that's one thing I just about understand. And although I am not a great cook, I can show you how to cook some Indian dishes. In return, I would love to try some of your local cuisines, however I am a vegetarian so if you know any vegetarian recipes, that would be great. I also like learning languages, and I can teach you some common phrases that will help you travel in France and India, should you intend to go there.
