ABOUT ME

I've been living here in NYC for about three years now, two years in Brooklyn, two years in Tribeca, and now in Soho/Chinatown. It's awesome here.

PHILOSOPHY

I love to travel, because you get to meet new and interesting people and see great places, but also because it has given me a greater appreciation for my own country. Now that I've been around the world, I truly understand why the United States is the best country in the world and I really and truly love my country in a very deep way. I like to do things that make a difference. It doesn't need to be on the world stage, but I don't want to live my life and look back and wonder what I actually accomplished over the years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't used this site to couchsurf yet, but I did go on a big trip back in 2001 as a touring DJ around eastern europe. I did web searchings for 'techno' and I found sites like techno.cz and techno.hr and I emailed the webmasters and that helped me meet people who manage clubs, so I arranged DJ gigs all over and managed to meet some really great people. It was the best time. I've had a great time hosting people in the Phoenix area. I've hosted a few people here in NYC, it's been great. I love showing people the cool spots where I like to hang out.
