ABOUT ME

Currently work as a research assistant in a stem cell lab, and will be moving to Seattle this fall to take the great plunge into Ph.D. research. I grew up in rural Maine, and moved to Cambridge, MA, after graduating college. I love the mixture of nature, history, and culture in New England, but really look forward to experiencing the Pacific Northwest for a little while - a beautiful part of the country.

Reading (fiction, non-fiction, whatever), music, movies, cooking. I recently bought a book on beer brewing and hope to buy supplies and pick up the hobby once I'm settled in Seattle. I like hiking/enjoying nature, biking past traffic during rush hour, and consuming coffee with regularity.
