CURRENT MISSION

Work in fun/interesting places and travel to fun/interesting spots when i"m not working.
I'd like to play guitar at the lake hotel here in yellowstone next season so I've been working on some acoustic versions of pop and jazz songs

ABOUT ME
I'm hooked on the seasonal jobs and the lifestyle that they allow me to live. I'm worked all sorts of jobs such as being a park ranger for the NPS, to being a oil worker and have stories to share from these experiences
I was raised in a conservative family and never had a family vacation in an area where it wasn't possible to order a hamburger and fries or step outside of my comfort zone. This harbored my desire to explore and spend some time in different cultures and countries for real experiences. I am open-minded, laid back and genuinely interested in most things but i have a short attention span, it's a weird combo.
Playing music is fun for lack of a better term and being in the great outdoors is... well... really great. I have a vast variety of interests

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosted a fair amount of surfers in yellowstone this summer and now looking for places to stay for a night a two while exploring the southwest in order to find a place I'd like to spend the winter.

hmmm movies, not sure, can't sit still long enough to watch most of them, but my favorites are documentaries and ones with beautiful footage of the world around us. Been watching the BBC "wild" series lately, Awesome.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drove 24 hours straight from Minnesota to Vermont by myself and didn't fall asleep on the way.
Tapped trees and made 2 gallons of maple syrup, not too amazing, but lots of work and a fun thing to do in the spring.
