Overview
About Me
I am a very friendly, communicative and open person. I love cooking, making music and jamming, as well as discussing big, life-affirming topics, and making meaningful connections with people. In my hometown of Montréal, I work as a musician under the name Aquaventure, and I organize two series of DIY concerts in the electronic/experimental music scene: one named Zona and the other Oxygen. My dream is to open a space for artists and musicians to meet, perform, exhibit and collaborate.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have a passion for travelling in solo, meeting new people and getting immersed in the local vibes, cultures and personalities of the world. Couchsurfing is the perfect gateway to those experiences!
Interests
I am a nerd in Ableton, a music production software. Also, I love cinema and to talk about movies, as well as photography, poetry, singing, tai chi and yoga.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love all genres of music with a passion, especially the softer, more melodic sounds, as well as propulsive, entrancing grooves.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I worked several years in cinema, and even played an enormous part in creating a feature film called Mangoshake in 2018. It went to festivals around the world. I have created my own series of events in Montréal, and perform electronic music under the name Aquaventure.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help with your English or French, or teach you basic or more advanced skills for Ableton. I would say that my teaching skills are very intuitive and I have a perfect temperament and communication style to do so.
