About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel the world learning whatever I can.

ABOUT US
My husband, Zach, and I got married 5 1/2 years ago, and have been traveling or working on funding the travel ever since then. So far we have been to Europe (mostly Ireland), Argentina, and many of our own glorious states. Currently we are on a mission to switch to careers that fit our more nomadic, adventure seeking dreams.

We currently live with 3 other people, so shared spaces are something we are used to. Our favorite part of sharing our space and lives is sitting down at the end of the day just to talk about how our day was and dream of our vacations together.
Beer, Food, Good Conversation, Adventure. That, in the reverse order, is what we love about travel.

PHILOSOPHY

Do what makes you happy, as long as it is not at the expense of others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far nothing yet, but we have been on Warmshowers, which is this the concept. We have stayed in four houses as of October 2017, and all of them have been great in their own ways.

Interests

Traveling has been my only real passion for the majority of my life. Ever since I was a kid I wanted to see the far off lands, meet the people and eat the food! We live in a very beer heavy region, so we love a good beer, but even more than that, love the food of different towns.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all sorts of music, it really just depends on the day. I love listening to vinyls! Movies and I are pretty good friends, I love watching documentaries!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to be the shy kid, the one who would die if you talked to her. Then I traveled. Travel has given me a voice. It gave me confidence to be me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning new recipes. I want to learn to cook something new from everywhere I go.

Recently Zach and I started learning American Sign Language and Spanish and would love the opportunity to practice it with others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

With hosts we can swap stories, hang out, cook food. We love meeting and getting to know people from everywhere!

Countries I’ve Visited
