About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See the world and meet as many new and interesting people as possible!
ABOUT ME
I'm a writer and editor, living in Portland since 2015. I live near Harney Park, please view on the map at the link below and consider distance to downtown and other points of interest before requesting to stay, in case it's too far for you:

I'm clean, reliable, respectful: the perfect guest/host! I do have a very excited large dog, so that should factor into your planning! 420 friendly.
PHILOSOPHY
This too shall pass.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I may be able to offer up a couch from time to time. I'm also up for meeting and hanging out, maybe playing tourist or guide.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted and surfed a few times each, mostly great experiences, and I'd do it again!
I've also chilled with a few different surfers, all good experiences, good people.
Interests
Movies, live music, books, good food, bicycling, hiking, swimming, trying new things. And traveling, of course.

Music, Movies, and Books
Italo Calvino's Invisible Cities. Cormac McCarthy's The Road. Albert Camus's The Plague.
Harakiri. The Princess Bride. High Fidelity. The Omen. Alien. Once Upon a Time in the West. Oh, there are so many!
(Almost) anything and (nearly) everything music-wise.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Nine months on an amazing, continuous journey through China. I had hoped to learn something special in my time there, but I seemed to learn something new and spectacular every day.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My current couch doesn't fold out into a bed, but I've still slept on it! I think it's pretty comfortable. I also have plenty of blankets and a sleeping bag or two. I also have a spare bedroom I use for storage/office space, mostly, but I do have a blow-up mattress if you like, and the room would allow you more privacy.
I don't always have much food on hand, but if I/we have the time and inclination, I may cook us dinner. You're on your own for lunch, but you're welcome to any breakfast items I have on hand.
