I'm half Finnish and half Pakistani and born and raised in England- so I'm either extremely identity challenged or part of the new global destiny...probably a bit of both. I still haven't grown out of those 2am converssations...why are we here? What's this all about? Answers gratefully received on a postcard..

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just joined CS - a friend told me about it and I thought I'd check it out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first experienced couchsurfing in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and loved it. I was somewhat thrown into the deep end as I ended up looking after a fellow CS place and being the host for several other CS's...I loved the sense of openness and trust that was apparent. I'm now back in the UK and interested to see what the CS experience is like in this country and being a host here.

Love exploration of all kinds- new places, countries etc but also the inner kind of my internal landscape- through meditation, questionning etc.
Love to dance- anything and everything to move my body- salsa, Jazz, contemporary, Biodanza.
Currently needing to feed my explorer some more so about to embark on a journey to explore Cambodia and volunteer at orphanage. I've done a lot of traditional touristy stuff and now look to immerse myself more in countries.

Arriving at dawn at the Sungate at Macchu Picchu to see clouds that had been with us for days suddenly part to reveal the amazing site of Macchu Picchu.
