About Me
I'm a person that likes travel, read, learn, get together with my friends and talk about everything. I love to know new places and new people around the world and I like simple things as eat pizza and watch movies with my family and friends.
If you want to know more about me you can visit my Facebook porfile at www.facebook.com/samirpenha
I swear: I am a good boy :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First I would like to meet new people around the world
I will live in Ireland in 2017 to study English and while I stay in Europe I want to travel to near countries to visit and see places that I have see in books and movies but I want to meet local people and learn from them about what it's like to live in the cities I visit. As I always says "it's not just travel to Peru (for example) but know how Peruvian people see the world."
I read many articles about CS and I decided try to see how is this experience.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music - I love Brazilian music (MPB), rock, pop, some country and some classic. If I could, I'd listen to music all day, everywhere.
Movies - Avatar, Star Wars, Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, Back to the Future, Matrix, Indiana Jones,The Giver (if you haven't seen it yet, you are missing out! It's an amazing movie) and I don't know how explain but I really love Wall-e (yes, the little robot from Pixar's animation)
Books - I have a special feelings for Harry Potter's books because I grew up reading these books, but some authors that I love (in no particular order) are: J. K. Rowling, J. R. R. Tolkien, Dan Brown, George R. R. Martin, Rick Riordan, Agatha Christie, Christopher Paolini, Lemony Snicket, Sidney Sheldon, Stephen King
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I used to think traveling was my goal for life until my nephew born in June 2016. Now my goal is to be the best crazy uncle for him and wait to traveling with him.
My biggest realization was learn, while I was traveling alone in Berlin, that 'ausgang' means 'exit' in German by myself.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like learning about other's people experiences not only in traveling but in the lives, everyone has an interesting story to share. And if you want, I can teach some Portuguese classes :)
