Hi I'm Samir, 26 years old and from Germany! Through my current job, I get to travel a lot so I'd be glad to check out some bars with some nice people or explore the nature outside of the cities!

In general I'm currently working in a software company and studying Sociology in a master's program in Mannheim in Germany. Already made some experiences with couchsurfing in New Zealand and the Balkans.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's the best way to learn something about a country and their people in contrast to stay in an isolated hotel ;)

Interests

Due to my study, I'm naturally interested in social topics, e. g. cultural & structural differences & similarities between countries and within Europe, but in general, I'm interested in pretty much every field (science, arts, ethics...), so I think we wouldn't have problems to find common conversations ;) Besides, I am doing sports(jogging, rowing, fitness center), hanging out with friends of course, and listen to mostly electronic (minimal) and alternative music. So if you know some secret "underground" clubs in your town, I'm your buddy to join you! :P

A veeery dangerous hike on a mountain on an lonely island of Fiji, which almost cost my live...but the view in the end was amazing ;)
