About Me

Quick update : I'm back in my dear hometown and just need some time to get settled before hosting you (you know, so you're all cosy and don't want to leave)

Hey, dear future guest, I love you already and I have some bread we can break, we have laughs to share and some path-crossing to do !

Lots of love !

Full house for some time, my sister and husband and niece are delightfully crowding up the place (coming back home to a giggly, giddy toddler is the point of life, I found out !).
But if you're up for a drink, visiting a museum, going to an expo, sitting on a bench or just staring blankly into each other's eyes from one end of a metro line to the other, I'm up for that too ! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new people on a daily basis (or quite regularly, at least) keeps me sane. It makes me happy. And I like being happy. I'd say I'm am overall happy, mind-numbingly positive person.

My point being : newness is the drive !
Plus, Couchsurfers are just awesome ! Seriously, in this day and age, stumbling upon people who haven't fallen pray to cynicism and suspicion directed towards anything exterior to them, is so fucking improbable, I'd take every single member of this community for drinks if I could ! It's actually my goal :D

Also I can't stand hotels. Too depressing, too impersonal, too tidy, too unhuman. I just can't.

Interests

Finding people I can fully be my weird, incredible self with (gnoscê tê, right ?).
Anything that feels right in the moment, really. As simple as that.

Can I just be trying to make as many people as I can happy in my lifetime ? Is that an interest ????
More importantly, if it is indeed one, is there a way I could turn it into a paid occupation ; a job sort of thing. If you have the answer, please send me a message !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't feel like I've done anything significant. Maybe I have. You tell me.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ok, seriously, how smug would I sound saying I can "teach" anybody anything. Which would mean that I actually KNOW something (other than enough words to be understood clearly, I hope, in the languages I can speak). When, in reality, you and I both/all are perfectly aware that I don't know shit !!!!

So let's take it down a notch to the learning bit ! :D
That's what I'm aiming for and focusing on. Much, much more humble.

Sharing's a second nature. It just makes sense. I'm starting to detect a personal lack of appetency for the very notion of "personal property" (!!!!NOT a communist !!!! Just a gift for hyperbole and written bullshit. Please take lightly ! Please do not file a complaint ! The first two sentences were pretty accurate, though).

What I Can Share with Hosts

People, I don't feel like I've respected the different rubrics so much. I'm messy. My place isn't, I swear. It's just my brain. And feelings. And hair. And train of thought.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Gambia, Germany, Italy, Morocco, Portugal, Tunisia

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Senegal
