Overview
About Me
I'm easy going and interested, I like discovering and talking to
people. I'm originally from Berlin, Germany but right now I'm spending a year in South-Korea studying, while learning about the language and culture.
So far my experience with couchsurfing had been more hosting than surfing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've spend some time abroad and just really enjoy the company of different cultures. If I'm in my home, getting new influences from other people always helps me not to get stuck in my daily life.
So I actually prefer exchange rather than a simple place to stay, I think this is not what couchsurfing is supposed to be.
Interests
My bag is always to heavy, but that's not because I'm taking to much clothes, rather it's because I always have way to much books with me. Most of the time I also can't resist taking some herbs and other cooking equipment.
When I'm in a new place I just spend most of the days walking around and discovering, I really like walking and I really like discovering the places I go to naturally, instead of just looking at the tourist attractions.
I'm very interested in international cuisine, travel, art, hiking and from time to time climbing.

Music, Movies, and Books
There's countless books I loved and enjoyed reading, most of them german ones, but also some english books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking through Turkey was.. exciting.
But I'm always happy and amazed when I reach the top of a mountain.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm happy to teach some German, some of my cooking skills.
I'm always happy to learn about local cuisine! Please share your favourite dishes with me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a really good cook, so I could definitely cook something nice.
Of course I could always offer to teach some of my language (my mother tongue is German), and share some nice stories from traveling.
