I joined Couchsurfing to connect with travelers from around the world and offer authentic guidance for those who are interested in exploring Afghanistan. As a local with a licensed travel agency, I’ve seen how important it is for travelers to have trusted, real connections especially in a country like mine where hospitality is a deep-rooted tradition.

I enjoy traditional Afghan music, especially artists like Ahmad Zahir and Nashenas. I also like listening to soft instrumental music and classic international songs that have meaningful lyrics.

Movies:
I like movies that tell powerful stories—both real and fictional. Some of my favorites include The Kite Runner, Lion, The Pursuit of Happyness, and documentaries about culture and travel.

Books:
I enjoy reading books about history, culture, and personal development.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I helped organize and guide a safe and unforgettable journey for a group of international travelers through some of the most beautiful and historic parts of Afghanistan. Despite all the challenges, seeing their joy and appreciation for our culture, and showing them the real face of my country, was one of the most meaningful and amazing things I’ve ever done.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
I can teach you about Afghan culture, history, traditions, and daily life. I can also share travel tips for exploring different parts of Afghanistan, and even some basic Dari or Pashto phrases if you're interested.

Learn:
I’m always curious to learn about other cultures, languages, and different ways of life. I enjoy hearing travel stories and experiences from people around the world—it helps me grow and see the world from new perspectives.

Share:
I’d love to share Afghan hospitality, local food, stories, and real insights into my country. I can also share recommendations, guidance, or help you plan your journey if you're traveling through Afghanistan.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my culture, knowledge about Afghanistan’s history and traditions, and stories from my experiences as a local travel guide. I’m happy to bring a small gift from Afghanistan or cook a traditional Afghan meal if possible.
