I grew up in a small California beach town.
I graduated from UCLA in 2009.
I played rugby for UCLA.
I surf the ocean frequently, and couches less frequently.
I study Physical Oceanography/Ocean Optics at Scripps Institution of Oceanography.
I plan to never stop learning.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My favorite couch was Martha's Vineyard in 2009. I was there for Hurricane Bill, surfing waves by day and a couch on a pond by night, hitchhiking to get anywhere. Across the pond, President Obama was vacationing with his family.
