ABOUT ME
Hello.
As I age (gracefully?) I see the same excitable, inquisitive kid I was when I left school - just one more balanced (he would say less radical), a lot more patient, more bald/bearded, slightly funnier, definitely less awkward, and into a much more diverse range of aspects of life. Live for music, wonder, humour, new experiences, and good vibes.
I work for a charity in International Development which I feel blessed to have.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host/travel/play/listen/talk/walk/run/kick/jump/eulogise/procrastinate. Pretty much the same as nearly everyone I've met on CS - outgoing, relaxed folk, who value interactions with whomever.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have counted myself extremely lucky to have both surfed and hosted (and shared my life in Manchester with) some fantastic people many of which I count as friends and all whom I would happily see again.
Interests
Buying into pretentious genres. Music: ethiopian jazz, glitch, glo-fi, idm, balkan brass, folk, reggae, ragga, bashment, mathrock, postrock, rockrock, ambient tech, chamber music, wonky hippety-hop. Other: illustration, chinese sculpture, street art, anti-hero comic books. Film: old British surrealist comedy, Cinema Verite, Iranian cinema, beautiful animation, Visual Anthropology, Bollywood. Just staring idly at any rubbish on the tv. Cycling - two wheels better than four. Kicking a leather ball from one piece of grass to another. Wise cracking. Poached eggs. Etymology. Fantastic knitwear. Hats. Indecent grammar.
