About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Saving the world, one cup at a time.

ABOUT ME

I'm smart, I like to learn, I spend most of my time interacting with people, mostly for shits and giggles. I follow politics; Jon Stewart, Amy Goodman, Rachel Maddow. I like coffee, alot. Halfway to being a snob. maybe more than half. It's through traveling that I've become what i am today, but the only problem is that I need to see more of the U.S., so that's my next extracurricular project. (Oh, yeah, and if you can't tell yet, I've been called ADD before, more than once.)

I ride my bike, play pool, drink coffee, and beer, and water, and I listen to good music.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to learn. And teach. An activist of the mind, It's all about communication. There's many forms of communication you can't see, or hear...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I know this city well, I've been here for a while. I love to share the little secrets with people new to Denver, or even Colorado. I like to take what I've learned from traveling and share that, too.

I try to make community and real connections wherever I go. If I share my love of people effectively, it's contagious, which also builds community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a great experiences in San Francisco after ending up in Oakland at an art party, then staying there for the night on a super comfy bed.

I've met a number of people who have surfed through on friend's couches... my living situation just changed again, so I have a couch I can offer sometimes now. Never been an actual host before though.

Interests

Creativity, riding my bike, massage/bodywork, Music, School, Girls, Good Coffee, Good Beer, Politics, Pool... (but not necessarily in that order)

Music, Movies, and Books

To many to list.

the first movie that comes to mind at a glance is Fantastic Mr. Fox, I've got a bad memory, and I don't watch enough movies, but I do love the good ones.

Music is HUGE: right no I'm listening to Ratatat. Also, Broken Social Scene, Blockhead, Amon Tobin, Bonobo, Busdriver, DJ SHADOW, DJ Krush, Daedalus, Radiohead, Del! Tha Funkee Homosapien, Beck, The Roots, The Flaming Lips, Saul Williams, Bluetech, trying to get a knowledge of Dubstep, so I listen to Mary Ann Hobbs on BBC Radio One...

...I could go on for a while, but really, I like a lot of stuff from many realms; most of what I dig for is in the realm of obscure electronic or hip-hop based or ...eclectic type stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I scuba dove on the Great Barrier Reef at night, with thousands of glowing shrimp, and a few sea turtles.

I've seen a few concerts at Red Rocks Amphitheater from an extremely precarious post at the top of the rock that also functions the backdrop of the stage.

I learned how to drive a motorcycle in New Delhi, India; easily the most insane traffic I've ever seen.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a lot of random knowledge, and I try to disperse it wherever needed... whether that means logic and left brain smarts or the basics of corporate control of America and the world. Lately a big project of mine has been letting people know the truth about the so called conflict in Israel. We've been lied to in this country, and human rights are a big deal.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Belgium, China, France, India, Israel, Palestine, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
