I like most types of music, generally prefer the more chilled out varieties though.
Books; fantasy and adventure are my preferences but will give most recommendations a chance. I start more than I finish.
Movies; I generally like them big and loud, so long as they've got the fundamentals (plot,storyline,etc). I'm usually not the most high-brow movie fan in the room...

Attended the 2006 Kalachakra with the Dalai Lama, walked through Daisetsuzan national park, seen the sunrise from the top of Mt.Fuji and eaten the best prawn sandwich ever at Heaven 23 in Gothenberg.
