About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to make the most of the time I've been given

ABOUT ME

My name is Sam, right now I am studying at the University of Heidelberg. I also went to UNC Asheville in the US. I love music, people, eating, talking, reading and drawing. I used to live in Germany when I was younger - now I'm doing it for a year. I want to see as much as I can manage while balancing school and everything else. I am really respectful of private space and people's things etc so that won't be a problem

PHILOSOPHY

live and let live all the way. Do whatever makes you happy while causing the minimum amount of harm to other people is the ideal

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm genuinely interested in big ideas that make connections and bind people together so CS is ideal. I'd like to participate furthering that spirit.

Interests

I'm interested in art in a general sense. esp. painting/music/writing. that's like the trinity. I also love conversations and seeing other people's point of view. Interested in having my view of the world turned on its ear.

Music, Movies, and Books

a few favorites are the alchemist and the catcher in the rye, so that makes me right in line with 99% of young people in the US

as far as music goes it's a lot of electronic music recently. actually the stuff I've been listening to at the moment is elec. that sounds like it was made by human hands - like burial and actress and glasser and j dilla.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped into a giant rained-in quarry one time with friends. It was pitch black night and about a 40 foot drop (about 12m for the metric world). I guess it doesn't sound like much but it was a lot of fun.

Teach, Learn, Share

definitely on the student end of this spectrum right now. I'm sure you have plenty to teach me.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Tunisia, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, United States
