About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To enjoy every moment and absorb humble wisdom while seeing the world.

ABOUT US

I am an open-minded explorer seeking to grow through meeting new people and having new experiences. Wherever I am, whatever I'm doing I strive to be kind, clean, grateful and fun. There is an artistry to life that we all tap into; through experience and stories our pictures illuminate. We're all just trying to complete this image.

I am a novice yogi who gets enjoyment out of simple things. Good food, good drink, good company, a dry shelter to share. As well as some other things, such as: nature, music, visual art, media, extreme sports, cycling, motorcycling, dancing, singing... and more to know once we meet!

PHILOSOPHY

be fearless/ and play.

There is so much to every moment that we live. The connections we make give breath to our lungs. 'We cannot grow if we do not breathe.' Forget the fear that revels, post pone your departure and take to what comes/

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first used CS'ing in July of 2012 surfing in the land of the desert in Arizona with my previous partner. We learned the great lengths hosts' go through to put surfers up for the night, and out of this grew our respect for this community. We also couchsurfed a few times in the US and internationally -- Most of which have all been great experiences for both parties alike. We've met some life long friends and travel companions through this community.

Through couchsurfing we are interested in building new relationships and understanding between individuals, cultures, and land. At the very least establishing personal relationships with honor and respect for each other. Couchsurfing is such a beautiful community of people bonding over things we know best: communication, food, and love.

Everyday is about living. Find your breath, know your soul. Meditate, your body needs it. Judge not your thoughts/

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the year of 2020, I will attend my second acroyoga festival, graduate from college with a bachelors in Chinese Language. Then I will move to China! (Get what you want.)

In the year of 2019, I attended my first acroyoga (and yoga) retreat ever and it was in Mexico. I learned foundational elements that will help my practice grow throughout my journey.
In the year of 2018, I moved to Hong Kong for a semester abroad.
In the year of 2017, David and I split up. I moved to a new city. I lived by myself for the first time. I began re-attending college in hopes to graduate with a Chinese Language Bachelor's degree.
In the year of 2015 we committed to a year of firsts, FIRST : ferry ride, skydive, summer of (5) festivals, bus ride, train ride, dispensary visit, hostel stay, bed and breakfast stay, Glacier National Park visit, Teddy Roosevelt Park visit, staying the night in 5 different states: [North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Michigan], not working for more than 6 days in a row.

As we age, we're trying to gain wisdom. See ways of life that are not familiar and expose ourselves. We wish to share all of our experiences, with you and everyone else. Why don't we all do the same?

Teach, Learn, Share

Love/teach love and understanding.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Samm (IN BOULDER) can share a small limited space, with the floor as your crash pad (I don't own a bed.) I yam more than happy to show you around once or twice in-between my crazy work and school schedule -- but know that I am quite a busy person on a day to day basis. I live on the outskirts of downtown Boulder, about a 30 minute walk from the downtown bus station and downtown Pearl area, 5 minute walk to the closest bus station.

Countries I’ve Visited
