Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel to somewhere new, I don't just want to see the place, but also know about the history, culture, the food and people of that place. I believe that knowledge and understanding about other people and cultures is the key to a better, more peaceful existence. No better way to gain that experience and to do all of that than to stay with a local.
