My name is Sammy Lam and I am 25 years old. I was born and raised in Texas, but have been lucky enough to live in Colorado, Virginia, and Washington. I am now going to be traveling around the world as I pursue my Masters Degree. I enjoy the outdoors, wine, travel, and snowboarding. I am excited to meet you all through my travels.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am about to embark on a journey around the world for my Masters Degree in Wine Management. This program will have me bouncing around to 27 countries to understand the global wine industry. As much as this is a great opportunity, it is also a huge investment. I am on a tight travel budget which is why I've decided to give couch surfing a try.

I respect people, their homes, and their privacy. I always clean after myself as I do not like to be a burden to my hosts. I enjoy good company and great conversations. I am not a picky individual, especially when it comes down to accommodations. I tend to pack lightly. I can be flexible and I will work with the hosts schedule. I value communication and am grateful for what I am offered.
