Overview
About Me
I would say I am a layed-back and open-minded person who is passionate about my interests. I enjoy a good discussion and learning new things. On my trip I will probably walk around town a lot, visit some museums, try the local food, do some hiking, and in the evening go to a nice bar or go dancing at a place with good music (anything but mainstream pop music). After a long day, I am somebody who needs some time alone to recharge.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
At the moment I am living and studying in Riga, but after this semester ends I will go back to the Netherlands. I am using this as an opportunity to interrail around Europe this summer and thus am looking for places to stay!
I think the concept of couchsurfing is great to make traveling more affordable and meet new people at the same time :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Do other people also have a music taste that changes every year? At the moment I listen a lot to alternative R&B and afro beats. But I also like electro-pop, (instrumental) funk, indie and whatever TwentyOnePilot is making. I am one of those people who does like to watch movies, but could not name you 10 actors/actresses/directors/etc. And as for books, I am trying to get out of a reading slump since I was 16 haha. I keep buying books about political/philosophical/climate (action) topics or classic novel and not reading them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The trip with my family to Curacao. I went with my grandparents, sister and some of my aunts, uncles and cousins. This is something that we rarely do in the first place, so that for me made it really memorable. One day, we made a day trip to Small Curacao (another island) and I got to see a sea turtle while snorkeling.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you the majority of my interests I guess :) And I am always open to learning new things!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversations, (home-made) food, the activities I will do in your city if you want to join me, and a healthy amount of rest and silence in the house.
