ABOUT ME

I am Saman and I am from Kurdistan region of Iraq, I work for an aid NGO. I am a very friendly and flexible person ( I think) who gets on with anyone. I understand both eastern and western cultures because I lived a good part of my life in the UK. Really easy going, clean and Hygenic. I can also cook some nice middle eastern dishes.

Travelers to my country/City: I have a very busy life and working days so I apologize if I am not able to host or meet when receiving requests but please feel free to check with me before sending the request and I would do my best to at least advise and guide or may be I am around and the couch is free.

Hosts in places I travel to: Dears, I can always afford a budget hotel or a hostel when I travel so if asking for a stay at your place be sure its not only about cost saving but more about meeting locals and seeing things from their eyes.

I am the type of traveler who would like to combine between leisure and work. for example, if I am at your country/city then it's very likely that I have something to do there like a seminar, workshop, meeting or something but I usually extend my stay by a couple of days on my own expense to experience the locals. or the other way around, I can't just go to a country only to see it as my workdays/hours are very busy and won't be able to take all that time off from work.

I am willing to assist anyone who is willing to visit my new developing state (Kurdistan) and make a friendly network of friends all over the world. I have a very busy life and working days so I apologize if I am not able to host or meet but would do my best to at least advise and guide.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have traveled abroad a lot and stayed with some couchsurfers a couple of times, it is a great experience and really amazing that everyone is actually nice in this network, I look forward to meeting more nice people from around the Globe.

Not a good reader of books but i read occasionally what comes across to me
