I enjoy meeting people and learning about new cultures - you can't understand a place just by looking at the tourist sites! And it is always going to be more interesting than a hostel or hotel room..

Walked across Iceland, from the south to the north. Took 3 weeks and vast amounts of pain and starvation but it is one of my best memories! Also reached the top of several unclimbed mountains in India and Kyrgyzstan
