ABOUT ME

I find inspiration from living out of my comfort zone. I feel most alive when I am creating when I am learning, stimulating my mind, listening to peoples stories and finding MY place in the world.
I believe in LOVE and the power to be who you want to be and to live as you would like to be living.
I believe in the universal thread and the art of coincidence. The power we all have inside to revolutionise ourselves and our planet, whenever we decide to.
I met my partner Levi whilst travelling in California and we have a baby named Oska who is nine months old. We both work as artists and sell our art in Kuranda- a beautiful rainforest community near Cairns. We are both keen travellers and love to work festivals teaching and sharing our art.

PHILOSOPHY

I live in the knowledge that I am constantly changing. That I am only who I am in any moment. That all I can be is myself and all I can do is what I enjoying doing. I guess in some ways that makes me hedonistic, but to quote MR.BURROUGHS who said "maybe pleasure is just a form of relief", I have to say maybe pleasure is where it's at.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have actually only couchsurfed once before and I ended up making such great friends with all the people in the house that I stayed with them three more times after that. It was such an awesome experience that I was almost afraid of doing it again for reasons of being let down. Almost. I have faith.

Música, películas y libros

I could spend my whole life just watching movies. Old school, new school, black and white, foreign, arthouse, indie, thriller. You name it, I have probably seen it. I find something in most intelligent movies to interest me. But you can't spend your whole life watching other peoples lives, I guess it's the storycollecter in me.
Music- I live for music. I NEED music to satisfy my soul. Plainly simply it's meditaion, its a cure.
I especially dig old dirty blues, rock n roll , funk, ya know the stuff you can listen to anytime of day.
Books- I tend to get so absorbed I will read a book in a day if I am into it. I would have to say I am an avid reader of Biography, history and fiction. Some of my favourite authors are Oscar wilde, Hunter s Thompson, Burroughs, Cormac MaCarthy to name some, it changes however with each new author I discover.
My favourite book of all time is Star Book by Ben Elton. Finding it a little difficult as of late to find the time to read.

Hard to say really- Living and learning about life/meditation/philosophy from a monk in the hills of Bolivia was life changing for sure.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Stories, millinery skills, the lost art of conversation, humour, Tarot. My partner teaches wire wrapping and we have a market stall so anyone who is into crafting is welcome to share our market space. I would like to learn any craft especially working with leather or hemp. I also love to learn new recipes and dishes from around the world.
