About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make London a happier, friendlier place by encauraging people to talk to strangers...

ABOUT ME

My name's Sam, I come from a family of 7, having two older brothers, two younger sisters, an Estonian dad and an English mum! I'm currently in my second year at university in West London. I live with my 4 flatmates in a nice little flat in Ealing, London. I found this website through a friend and can't believe how amazing it is and I'm really looking forward to meeting lots of like minded, genuine and kind people!

PHILOSOPHY

For me life's about having fun, being a friendly, kind person, meeting new people and just doing what you really want to do.

Work is just a means to a financial end, something I can pick up to get some cash, but happily leave behind to pursue what I really want to do.

People tend to always want more and more things, but for me less is more. The less you have the more you realize you don't need things to be happy.

The thing that seems like heaven to me is the complete simple life. Free of money, business, power...just living off the land, with my close friends. Traveling makes me feel close to this.

Interests

I'm interested in all kinds of music, love watching films that entertain or broaden my outlook on things. But my favorite thing to do is to hang out with my close friends, whether its just playing Playstation or going out for food, as long as I'm with my good pals I'll always have a good time!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the Easter break me and my close friend decided to swap hanging around our home town for two weeks with a hitch hiking adventure taking us from Sheffield, England to Marrakesh, Morocco. We set off with supplies and a rough map of europe and aimed to go as the crow flies through England, France and Spain, where we could get the ferry to Morocco. We had 19 amazing lifts to the south of Spain meeting some really great people, including an Abba loving Italian trucker and the very nose that created the scent of Jean Paul Gautier!! The trip was life changing for me and I've been itching to get back out on the road every since I returned. I'd recommend hitching to anyone who enjoys roughing it, wants to travel cheap, wants to meet fantastic people and have an amazing experience that will stay with you for the rest of your life!
