Hello everyone! How to describe my personality and my interests in a few lines... It seems to be impossible. Still, may I say I love to discover and learn about cultures and new ways of thinking. I'm also very much interested in social and political movements. I like to have crazy projects and most of all to acheive them! And what would be my life without the bliss of laughing and sharing moments with friends?! I'd like to live as much diversified experiences as I can to build my mind, body and soul (Oh, that's well said!). s.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate in hosting, surfing, organizing and attending events and - if I have sth that might be IMPORTANT or helpful to say - I reply to group threads [mainly the groups , Advice for Hosts]. To me CS is much more than a place to sleep but a Way of Traveling, namely by visiting [potential] friends and HOSTING/SURFING makes most sense to me if my host/guest SHARES THIS ATTITUDE!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: A bit of everything. Wouldn't know were to start. In the last 2 years i have been to to the Sziget Festival in Budapest, an Ishmael Lo Concert in Cape Town, the Opera in Vienna, a gypsyfestival in NL, a Dave Matthews Band concert in Brussels, a latin jazz concert in Coamo (Puerto Rico),
the Danube Island Festival, the NUKE Festival in Lower Austria, Mzolis in Gugulethu, a DJ live set in Mumbai,
a Pearl Jam concert in Christchurch, NZ and I am sure I'll go to some more soon.

Movies: Comedies. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeey :)
'Donnie Darko' is definitely a favourite. I like Emir Kusturica's, Stanley Kubrik's, Wes Anderson's and David Lynch's stuff. Or stuff that makes me think. 'What the bleep do we know?' is one I could watch every week. And 'Home' is one you can watch on youtube for frrreeee.

Books: I wish I had more time to read. I loooove reading. Recoomendation: Book by Joseph E. Stiglitz (Nobel Prize 2001) and Andrew Charlton. "Fair Trade for All: How Trade Can Promote Development." Bit dry but Great!
I believe fair trade and sustainable management are the only way to go if we really want this planet to survive. And tons of love of course.
Read novels and weird stuff too, though.
(Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, C.S. Lewis, J.R.R Tolkien, Jane Austen, George Eliott, Kahlil Gibran Eckhart Tolle, R.M Rilke and Hermann Hesse are some favourites.)
