When I travel I don't like to seclude myself in a hotel, but attempt to interact with the community. Hostels are a little better, but are often you just meet other travelers just looking for a party. Couchsurfing seems like the perfect option to retain the cost effectiveness of a hostel and get acquainted with a local!

Started at noon in Asheville and made it to Boulder for a late breakfast. The secret was speeding through Kansas at 2AM.
