to experience as much of the world as possible through the eyes of journalism. To expose wrongdoings and injustice, and tell people good stories - that's my mission.

ABOUT ME

I'm curious about what's happening in the world. That's probably inherent to my profession.

I finished my BA at the Danish School of Journalism in January 2007 and got a permanent job with The National Danish News Agency called Ritzaus Bureau. I work there as a videojournalist (VJ).

I grew up on a farm in the middle of Sealand (the island copenhagen is on) with horses, chickens, dogs, cats, tractors, hay and all that jazz. Happy healthy childhood...
Lived in Copenhagen - where I studied philosophy - for four years before starting journalism school in Aarhus. I managed to get a BA in Philosophy from Uni of Cph amidst doing all sorts of other things; working at a radiostation, a publisher's, a think tank and travelling...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First cs was in Athens. Had the best host and got to see a whole other Athens than I would have if I had just been a tourist.

I've met many people on my travels who've offered me a couch, and it's always been the best way to experience a place and stay away from the beaten tourist track.
