About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live in Northern Liberties in Philadelphia with two of my coworkers. Looking to explore the city further than just bars and experience my twenties to fullest extent. Make the most of my weekends for sure.

ABOUT ME

Very outgoing and open to new people, love to go out and have a good time and big sports fan. I'm a senior at the University of Pittsburgh studying business.
6 MONTHS LATER: Grew up in Philadelphia but moved to Pittsburgh for school. Now I found employment in downtown PHL and moved back. Meeting and connecting with new people is my favorite thing to do and my first real travel time these past two summers proved that.

PHILOSOPHY

"Happiness is only real when shared" Chris McCandless
"Whatever's gonna happen, my toes are still tappin" Mike Damone of Fast Times at Ridgemont High

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Taking a road trip this summer so I'll be surfing more than hosting but hosted a couple times this past year at Pitt.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed once during a trip in May. Could not have gone better and I'm hooked.
Hosted twice thus far and enjoyed hearing new stories.

Interests

Any and all sports (Playing as well as watching) I'm a huge runner and try to run after work as often as I can. Went from a miler and long sprinter in high school to a half marathoner and hopefully full 26.2 guy soon.
Also my trip to Europe sparked a love for the European brand of football. Go Tottenham Come on you Spurs!
Going to concerts and bars. Always going out and socializing. Lover of good beer and its pretty easy to convince me to grab a few.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I stopped reading for a couple years but got back into it and fully dove in. Some favorites are: Into the Wild(And anything by Kraukauer), Catcher in the Rye, A Clockwork Orange, All of the Hemingway I've read thus far, A song of ice and fire series, On the Road

Music: Dave Matthews Band, Arcade Fire, Elliott Smith, John Mayer, Pearl Jam, RHCP, some country, most folk music, Mumford & Sons, dont look for new electronic music but enjoy it when I hear it, Really anything that sounds right. Loving tropical and deep house currently

Movies: Into the Wild, Any Martin Scorsese film, Good Will Hunting, The Graduate, The Shawshank Redemption, The Deer Hunter, Rom Coms are my weakness and I'm not afraid to say that

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watch the sunrise over London as our host burnt his kitchen furniture in a bonfire and played music. It was a perfect moment.
The Real Madrid Champions league victory parade in the main plaza of the city por la decima.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learned a shitload about myself this summer traveling for the first time in Europe. I hope to meet others who have had the same situation or others who are looking to do the same thing. Experienced some really cool stuff myself and I want to hear about your stories too, mainly those ones that differ from the ordinary sites and clubs. One beer at a bar turns to six over some great conversation and a friendship is born.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some funny stories and craziness but also super respectful of space and clean. Almost obsessively clean so will probably end up doing your dishes and cleaning your place. But always down to go out and grab a few cold ones. I can stay up and talk all night in a living room or share a crazy night on the town with you.
